There are three concepts you have to keep in mind if you want to be able to wake up early and not feel tired. These core concepts will allow you to wake up every single day without even having to use an alarm clock. On top of that, you'll feel fresh, energetic, and vibrant.
The first concept is understanding how light affects your sleep. Bright white light (also known as blue light) prevents your body from producing melatonin. Without melatonin, you will not feel sleepy.
The second concept is to use your bed for sleeping only. A lot of us like to do other things in bed such as play on our phones, watch tv, or even eat. This causes your brain to associate your bed with these activities and will cause cravings while you're trying to sleep.
The last and final concept is the most important. Getting enough sleep, although it sounds like common sense, is crucial. If you're not sleeping enough, there's no way you're going to wake up feeling good.
