**** AUDIO WARNING :I apologize for the loud pops in the mic toward the end, I have a faulty wire on my cheap mic. **** (if your only complaint method is to drop f-bombs in the comments section about it, they will just be deleted so don't bother)
FIRST STEP: Copy your current EEPROM settings!! It's not my fault if you don't take note of your current EEPROM settings before overwriting them. Issue M503 command in Repetier-host or OctoPrint to get them.
Dead simple and fast way, with zero configuration required, to get and flash the latest version of Marlin on your Anet (or any other) 3D printer.
1) I neglected to mention in the video that you need to install this dependency first: https://git-scm.com/downloads
2) In order to compile and flash from this program you need to install PlatformIO. http://docs.platformio.org/en/latest/installation.html
3) Fellow YT'er, George Adamopoulos, pointed out that if you're using the stock Anet board, you need to replace the platformio.ini file in the Marlin folder with the one from Skynet3D's github, otherwise you will get an error about not having the correct board selected. https://github.com/SkyNet3D/Marlin (Thanks for finding that George!)
4) You don't have to use this program to compile and flash if you are having issues with using PlatformIO. Simply use this program up to the compile point, and then open up your new Marlin folder in Arduino and proceed as normal (see my previous Skynet installation vid).
